Made from recycled glass - the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being hand-blown and then hammered using traditional tools for an irregular patina that gives each piece a unique tactile quality. The terracotta coloured glass is never sprayed but the colour is embedded in the glass. This not only makes it food-safe but offers a purity of colour and improves the overall quality of the piece.
